About our Roles AWX is currently seeking an experienced Yard Person to join a well-established and respected building materials manufacturer based in Cairns.
This is a casual potential ongoing opportunity offering secure Monday to Friday hours with an immediate start for the right candidate .
Working within a busy production and distribution environment , you'll play an important role in ensuring products are safely handled, prepared and loaded for dispatch while maintaining a clean and organised yard.
What you'll do Pick, pack and stack concrete bricks and masonry products onto pallets Operate a forklift to move products safely throughout the yard Load and unload trucks while ensuring safe handling practices Assist with general yard duties, housekeeping and maintaining a protected work environment What you'll need Current High Risk Forklift Licence Minimum 2 to 3 years' forklift operating experience Previous experience working in a yard,



warehouse or manufacturing environment Physically fit and capable of manual handling in an outdoor environment Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic About AWX AWX started out with two blokes, a people problem and a whole lot of grit and that's still how we run.
