1st Year Cabinet Making Apprentice (Identified First Nations Position) Alexandria, Sydney NSW Are you passionate about working with your hands and building a career in cabinet making?
This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your apprenticeship with one of Australia's leading commercial joinery companies.
We are seeking a motivated 1st Year Cabinet Making Apprentice to join a large, well-established business based in Alexandria .
You'll learn from experienced tradespeople while working on high-quality commercial projects for some of Australia's most recognised organisations.
2nd, 3rd and 4th Year apprentices are also encouraged to apply!
About the Role As part of the factory team, you'll gain hands-on experience in the manufacture of custom joinery and cabinetry for a diverse range of commercial projects, including: Hotels Government departments Educational institutions Retail fit-outs Healthcare facilities Corporate office spaces And many more You'll develop valuable skills across cabinet making, joinery and commercial fit-outs while completing your apprenticeship.
What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who:
Is passionate about pursuing a career in cabinet making Has some related experience or interest (such as school woodwork, work experience, hobby projects or similar) Is hardworking, reliable and punctual Has a positive attitude and is eager to learn Enjoys practical, hands-on work Works well as part of a team What's on Offer Full-time apprenticeship (40-hour week, including 2 hours of overtime) Additional overtime available for reliable, hardworking employees Learn from experienced tradespeople in a supportive environment Work on exciting commercial projects across a variety of industries Opportunity for ongoing employment upon successful completion of your apprenticeship Join a large, reputable company with a robust pipeline of work Identified First Nations Position This is an identified position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants.
