The Role We're seeking a proactive and influential Risk Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of an integrated risk management and business continuity framework across the organisation.
This is a hands-on specialist role where you will work closely with leaders and service teams to strengthen risk capability, improve organisational resilience, and ensure readiness for operational disruptions and critical events.
You'll play a key role in embedding risk thinking into everyday decision-making and driving a strong, organisation-wide risk culture.
Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of risk management and business continuity frameworks Provide expert guidance on risk and compliance matters aligned with legislation and best practice Review and maintain organisational risk registers across governance, corporate and service areas Conduct risk assessments and analyse potential impacts of operational disruptions, emergencies and external threats Facilitate risk workshops and business continuity exercises with service teams Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including regulators and emergency planning partners Develop policies,



procedures and training to strengthen organisational risk capability Support reporting to senior leadership and governance bodies on risk and continuity performance Enhance and maintain risk systems and tools, including risk management platforms Promote a strong safeguarding and safety culture across all operations Skills Experience You will bring: Tertiary qualification in risk management or a related discipline Proven experience in risk management and/or business continuity roles Strong understanding of risk frameworks and their application in complex service environments Ability to influence, engage and build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation Experience developing policies, procedures and risk documentation Strong facilitation skills for workshops, training and scenario planning Excellent written communication and reporting skills High attention to detail and strong organisational capability Confidence using risk systems and MS Office applications A proactive, improvement-focused mindset Why This Role?
