About the Role We are looking for two Roadworkers to join a NSW Government road maintenance team based at Bomaderry.
This role supports the delivery of road construction and maintenance projects that keep communities connected and road users safe.
Please note: One of these positions requires a current MR Driver's Licence (or higher).
Position: Roadworker Grade 3 – $***** per hr + super Location: Bomaderry NSW Working Arrangement: 9-day fortnight with day and night shifts as required Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until 27 November **** Key Responsibilities Perform road and pavement maintenance works.




Assist with drainage construction and repairs.
Install and maintain roadside signage and safety barriers.
Support bridge maintenance and minor civil construction activities.
Operate hand tools and small plant safely.
Complete pre-start checks and basic equipment maintenance.
Follow traffic management, WHS and environmental procedures.
Identify and report hazards and defects.
Work effectively within a team to meet project deadlines.
Complete required records and site documentation.
About You Previous experience in road maintenance, civil construction or labouring.
Ability to safely use hand tools and small plant.
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety.
Reliable, physically fit and able to work outdoors.
Willingness to work a combination of day and night shifts.
Current White Card.
MR Driver's Licence or higher (mandatory for one of the two positions only).
Class C Driver's Licence Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plans tickets, or willingness to obtain at own cost soon after commencement.
Worker's on Foot or willingness to obtain at own cost before commencement.
Ability to pass National Criminal History Record Check.
Ability to provide two recent work references.
Valid working rights in Australia.
Sponsorship is not available.
Successful candidates must reside in NSW for the duration of the assignment.
