Our client is seeking a temp Field Asset Mapping Officer to support a short-term utilities infrastructure project based in Kalgoorlie.
This field-based role involves travelling across the region to locate utility poles and accurately capture GPS and asset data using mobile devices.
The assignment runs for approximately 3–4 weeks, with flights, accommodation, LAFHA and overtime provided, making it ideal for someone who enjoys independent outdoor work and regional travel.
What you'll be doing: Travelling across Kalgoorlie and surrounding areas to locate utility poles and infrastructure assets Recording accurate GPS coordinates and asset information using mobile devices or mapping tools Uploading and maintaining field data in line with project requirements Following mapped routes and ensuring daily targets are met Conducting basic vehicle and equipment checks before starting fieldwork Reporting progress, issues and completed works to supervisors What you'll need:
