About the Senior Field Service Fitter Diesel Mechanic role Requires: proven trade qualifications and extensive experience in heavy earthmoving machinery repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and component rebuilds as the Senior Field Service Fitter Diesel Mechanic.
Salary guide: $45 to $60 per hour.
$110,000 – $150,000+ OTE depending on overtime uptake.
Location: Northern suburbs of Brisbane.
What the Senior Field Service Fitter Diesel Mechanic will do each day Respond to breakdowns and carry out on-site diagnostics of heavy equipment across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on earthmoving machinery including OEMs such as Komatsu, CAT, Hitachi, and Volvo.
Complete hydraulic repairs, hose replacements, and component rebuilds.
Conduct engine overhauls and major part change-outs with precision and safety.
Carry out electrical fault finding and accessory installations.
Undertake air conditioning servicing and truck COI inspections where accredited.
Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required on site.
Liaise directly with clients, providing professional service updates and advice.
