Commercial Refrigeration / HVAC Service Technician This role suits an experienced refrigeration technician who wants secure commercial service work, clean professional sites, a take-home twin cab, paid on-call, and a more organised service environment.
You will maintain, fault-find and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment across Greater Melbourne, including healthcare and other critical commercial facilities.
The work includes preventative maintenance, breakdown response, refurbishments and some installation support.
About the Role Must hold relevant HVAC and commercial refrigeration qualifications.
Pay range: competitive hourly rate reflecting experience.
$40-$52 Location: Greater Melbourne metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment.
Respond to breakdowns and carry out preventive maintenance, particularly during colder months.
Undertake refurbishments and some installation tasks, including servicing refrigeration units in healthcare settings.
Handle refrigerants safely in accordance with industry standards.
Travel across metropolitan and surrounding areas using company-provided vehicles.
Participate in scheduled after-hours on-call duties with appropriate remuneration.
