Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the medical education and training sector, supporting healthcare professionals and communities across Australia.
The organisation is committed to improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes through education, collaboration and culturally informed programs.
This role plays an important part in supporting cultural capability across GP training programs while fostering strong relationships with communities, healthcare services and key stakeholders.
What you'll be doing: Develop and deliver Cultural Awareness and Cultural Safety training programs.
Lead cultural education initiatives that support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health training outcomes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, health services and key stakeholders.
Provide cultural advice, guidance and resources to support learning and workforce development activities.
Support accredited Aboriginal Health Training Facilities, including site visits where required.
Coordinate projects and evaluate program outcomes using data and reporting insights.
Represent the organisation at stakeholder meetings, forums and community events.
Support GP Registrars undertaking training within Aboriginal Medical Services and community-based settings.
Contribute to the ongoing development of culturally safe training and education practices.




What you'll need: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity.
Strong cultural knowledge and connection to community within your local region.
Experience developing and delivering Cultural Awareness and Cultural Safety training.
Demonstrated experience in program development, coordination and evaluation.
Excellent presentation, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
The ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships.
Experience preparing reports and using data to measure outcomes.
Strong administrative and computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel when required.
