Security Architect - Permanent - Hybrid - $190k inclusive of super + bonus About the company Within the resources sector Greenfield security uplift Looking at IT/OT About the role A global company within the resources sector are looking to hire a security architect on a permanent basis in Sydney, working in a hybrid capacity.
The role will suit a pragmatic security architect with relevant experience across critical infrastructure who is capable of supporting a greenfield program to uplift the company's cyber security maturity.
Responsibilities: Work as part of a cross-functional architecture team Accountability over security architecture, standards, patterns, governance,



risk and design assurance The role is expected to take a more hands-on approach on solution architecture in year 1 Influence cyber uplift and remediation outcomes Work to strengthen security decision-making, embed appropriate security standards and architecture practices Key Skills: Previous experience working as a network/controls engineer and grown into architecture Relevant experience across critical infrastructure - Mining, Utilities, Manufacturing, Asset Maintenance, Health, etc Experience within both IT and OT environments Technical knowledge on network segmentation, remote access, IAM, threat modelling and industrial security Solid stakeholder management skills Ability to travel to multiple sites when needed and engage with operational site teams
