Pallet Repairer Are you physically fit, reliable, and looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
We are currently seeking Pallet Repairers to join a well-established operation in Kenwick, offering excellent training, a strong safety culture, and opportunities for career development.
About the Role As a Pallet Repairer, you will work at a designated repair station where pallets are delivered via conveyor.
Your primary responsibility will be to inspect, repair, and maintain pallets to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Duties include: Conducting visual inspections of pallets for damage or defects Removing damaged battens using hydraulically assisted equipment Using an angle grinder to remove remaining nails Securing replacement battens using a pneumatic nail gun Operating hydraulic pallet-flipping equipment to inspect both sides of pallets Meeting daily productivity targets while maintaining quality and safety standards Following all site safety procedures and workplace policies What We Are Looking For To be successful in this role, you will have: A strong work ethic and positive attitude The ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift Reliability and commitment to attendance The ability to consistently work in a repetitive production-based setting Previous experience in manufacturing, production, factory, labouring, or similar environments Experience using hand and power tools (highly regarded),
including angle grinders and nail guns Reliable transport to and from work Training Development Full on-the-job training provided Approximately 6 weeks to become fully trained Supportive team environment Excellent safety culture Opportunity for ongoing development and growth Employment Type: Casual Shifts Available: Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:40pm Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm to 10:40pm Pay Rates: Day Shift: $***** per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) Afternoon Shift: $***** per hour ($***** base rate + 15% shift loading + 25% casual loading) PPE Requirements Candidates must provide: Long-sleeved high-visibility shirt Long work pants Steel-capped boots Safety glasses and face visors will be supplied on site.
