About the Role Join a skilled maintenance team responsible for keeping critical transport infrastructure operating safely and efficiently.
This hands-on role suits experienced Mechanical Fitters who enjoy working with tools, solving mechanical issues and working outdoors.
Position: Fitter Grade 2 - $***** per hour + Super Location: Milsons Point Start Date: ASAP Duration: 9 Months with possible extension Key Responsibilities Carry out mechanical fitting and maintenance work Use hand and power tools safely Inspect, repair and replace mechanical components Complete preventative and breakdown maintenance Follow safety procedures and site requirements Record completed maintenance activities Work effectively within a team Maintain a clean and safe work area About You Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining)



Current White Card Experience using hand and power tools Strong commitment to workplace safety Able to work independently and within a team Working at Heights ticket highly regarded First Aid Certificate highly regarded Ability to pass a National Criminal History Check and provide two references Full Australian working rights required.
