This role requires availability for on-call participation and a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.

Your Responsibilities:



Provide high-quality nursing care in the emergency department according to legislation and best practices.
Conduct thorough assessments and deliver evidence-based care.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Ensure the safety of patients and staff at all times.
Mentor and guide Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) in patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patients' medical records.
Essential Criteria: Current registration with AHPRA.
A minimum of 2 years of postgraduate RN experience in an acute emergency setting.
Valid Working with Children Check (NSW).
Availability for on-call shifts.
A strong commitment to quality patient care.
Familiarity with ACQSHC national standards.
Excellent clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Basic computer skills.
