THE POSITION This role is responsible for the successful coordination, events and functions, including client (internal and external) liaison and dining operations.
Assist in coordinating the front of house team's daily operations and function operations.
Lead the team to deliver exceptional, prompt and friendly service Lead from the front, mentor and train the team, ensuring a fun and energetic working environment Provide administration support to the site's management team Adherence to Our Safety Culture framework is expected Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients and respond to feedback Liaise with kitchen and service teams regarding room set up and menu requirements during weekly run sheet meetings Provide a warm,



friendly and welcoming service to customers and clients THE PERSON Minimum 2+ years with proven experience in a function venue or similar environment Demonstrated previous experience in leading a team as a 2IC, identifying opportunities for improvement, training and developing staff Good knowledge of Melbourne food and beverage scene Excellent communication skills, ability to confidently lead team briefing sessions with up to 12 team members Experience with an online booking system, ensuring table and coordinating guests Well-groomed and professional in appearance with attention to detail Strong work ethic and "can do" attitude A current Working With Children Check or ability to obtain is a requirement of this role THE ADVANTAGES Multiple salary packaging options to make your dollar go further Immediate access to 100+ retail discounts accessible from your mobile.
