About the position We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Transport Company Manager to manage and optimise our growing business.
In this rapid-paced role, you will be the key link between the drivers, customers, and operational team.

Key Responsibility Plan, organise, direct and control the daily operations of the transport company.
Assessing client needs through detailed discussions, advising on appropriate vehicle options and rental packages, and addressing any queries or concerns to enhance customer satisfaction.
Developing and implementing transportation schedules based on the client requirements, order specifications, and business objectives.
Organise dispatch, routing, and driver schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise delays.




Monitoring the fleet's maintenance and procurement processes, overseeing upkeep of vehicles, equipment, and fuel to support uninterrupted operations.
Ensure compliance with transport legislation, heavy vehicle regulations, and safety standards.
Manage transport budgets, controlling fuel, maintenance, and operational costs.
Ensure compliance with transport safety standards, road regulations, and company policies.
Handle client bookings, contracts, and service agreements.
Prepare and maintain operational reports, financial records, and performance evaluations.
Identify operational issues and implement improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
Skills And Experience Required Relevant qualifications in management or Business Administration (bachelor's preferred) Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in transport, logistics or fleet management Strong knowledge of transport regulations, road safety laws and compliance requirements Ability to supervise and lead drivers and operational staff effectively Strong organisational problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication and client management skills with the ability to handle complaints promptly.
