AYAN InfoTech is looking for Senior Security Engineer to join an exciting project based in Melbourne .
The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.
Role: Senior Security Engineer Location: Melbourne Contract Duration: 6 to 12 Months with high possible extensions Experience: 7+ Years Required Skills Experience: 8+ years of experience in network security, cloud security or infrastructure security roles.
Solid experience with one or more major firewall platforms (e.g. Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, Juniper, Checkpoint).
Solid hands-on skills in routing switching and Cisco ACI architecture (e.g. OSPF, BGP, VLANs, port channels, VRFs).
Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) and CI/CD or DevOps security practices.




Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Python, Ansible) or scripting for security use cases.
Strong capability in driving automation and AI-enabled capabilities within network security engineering, leveraging scripting, APIs, and intelligent analytics to streamline operations, enhance threat detection, and improve delivery efficiency.
