The Vehicle Buyer is responsible for the acquisition and sale of salvage vehicles through the IAA platform, supporting the organization's remarketing strategy and commercial objectives.
The role involves active participation in daily auctions, where the incumbent will develop market knowledge, refine buying judgement, and identify and execute purchasing opportunities in response to changing market conditions, while contributing to consistent purchase and sale volumes and maximizing profit margin.
The Vehicle Buyer applies valuation fundamentals and sound commercial judgement to make informed buying decisions, while building effective internal and external relationships to support stock flow, reporting accuracy, and overall auction performance.
The role works closely with valuations, marketing, and remarketing teams to ensure vehicles are purchased, managed, and sold in line with business requirements.
