About the role ****apprentice is seeking an enthusiastic 1st-year Apprentice Wall Floor Tiler to join our employer partner based in Kiama.
You will learn the skills and techniques required to become a qualified wall and floor tiling skilled.
Some of what you will learn Assisting experienced tilers with the installation of tiles on walls and floors Measuring, cutting and laying tiles using the correct adhesives and grouts Preparing surfaces for tiling by cleaning, levelling and priming Maintaining a clean and organised work area Completing all tasks to a high standard and in accordance with industry standards Participating in on-the-job training and formal education to develop your skills.
What we're looking for A strong interest in the building trades and a desire to learn the art of wall and floor tiling Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team A willingness to learn and develop your skills through both practical and theoretical training P Driver licence minimum is essential White Card (or willing to obtain one) A positive attitude and a commitment to completing your apprenticeship.
