The Role The position requires the Airconditioning Mechanic to be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across residential and industrial settings.
The role calls for a professional, committed to high quality workmanship and dedicated to upholding the company's reputation for integrity and excellent service.
This is a permanent full time position, for 38 hours per week.
Tasks include: Install, maintain, and repair various air conditioning systems, including split, multi, VRF, and ducted systems.
Carrying out installations of HVAC systems by reviewing drawings and specifications to satisfy the scope of work.
Drill holes, mount brackets, and cut, bend, and thread pipes.
Run copper lines for steam, gas, refrigerant, compressed air, oil, and water removing and filling gas and fluid using vacuum pumps, Test-run systems to check parts and make necessary adjustments.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure system efficiency and longevity Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations Provide expert advice to clients on system upgrades and energy−productive solutions Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Stay updated with the latest developments in HVAC technology and techniques.
Qualifications and other requirements Certificate II in split Air Conditioning and heat pump system or equivalent trade qualification At least 2 year of relevant experience High organization and management skills Able to understand basic calculations Ability to undertake manual work Ability to use tools and machinery Attention to detail and accuracy Pay: AU$79,****** – AU$85,****** per year + Super
