Experience supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients is highly regarded.
Experience in counselling, referrals,



advocacy and culturally appropriate support.
Knowledge of Social Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB), trauma-informed practice, AOD or community services .
Passionate about improving outcomes for First Nations communities.
Social Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Officer Certificate III (or higher) in Social Emotional Wellbeing, Community Services or a related discipline.
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Strong understanding of culturally secure practice, case support and referral pathways.
Passionate about supporting individuals, families and communities through holistic care.
Clinical Aboriginal Health Worker Experience working within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) or similar community health setting.
Experience supporting multidisciplinary clinical teams and delivering culturally safe healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Knowledge of chronic disease management , particularly diabetes care , client education, referrals and care coordination.
Passionate about improving health outcomes for First Nations communities and working within a multidisciplinary team.
