Our client is an Australian gold producer, developer, and explorer in WA, and they are currently looking for a experienced Heap Leach Operator to join our client's gold processing operation in Western Australia.
This is an excellent chance to join a well-established mining operation where you'll play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of the heap leach facility, ensuring optimal gold recovery and environmental compliance.
FIFO Perth Roster 8:6 / 7:7; Job Requirements: Previous experience working as a Heap Leach Operator within a gold processing operation; Sound understanding of heap leach processes and gold recovery; Experience with pumps, pipelines and irrigation systems; Current Australian Driver's Licence; Current National Police Clearance (within 12 months); Ability to pass a pre-employment medical,



including drug and alcohol screening; Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance; Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team; Position Duties: Operate and monitor heap leach irrigation systems and solution distribution; Install, inspect and maintain irrigation lines, emitters and valves; Monitor solution ponds, pumps and pipelines; Conduct routine inspections of heap leach pads and identify any issues; Operate mobile equipment, including loaders, forklifts and telehandlers (where licensed); Work closely with the Processing and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets; Experience Minimum 2 years experience in Gold Processing Plants.
