About the role
Plastering Solutions Tas (PSTAS)
is seeking experienced
Commercial Plastering Tradesmen
to join our growing team in Devonport, Tasmania.
This is a
full-time position
working across a range of commercial construction projects throughout Tasmania.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality plastering works while working as part of a professional and experienced trade team.
We are looking for tradesmen who take pride in their workmanship, are reliable, work well within a team and are committed to delivering projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
Installation of metal stud wall and partition systems
Installation of suspended ceilings
Installation of plasterboard, cement sheet and other wall and ceiling linings
Installation of fire-rated and acoustic wall and ceiling systems
Set out and installation of wall and ceiling systems in accordance with drawings and specifications
Working safely and efficiently within active commercial construction sites
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship across all projects
What we're looking for
Qualified Plasterer or demonstrated experience in commercial plastering
Previous experience working on commercial construction projects
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Experience with plasterboard, metal framing, suspended ceilings and associated systems
Experience with fire-rated and acoustic systems is highly regarded
Strong understanding of WHS requirements and protected work practices
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work




Physically fit and capable of working on construction sites, including at heights
Current driver's licence
Willingness to travel to project sites throughout Tasmania when required
