We currently have a vacancy for a Temporary Records Officer
(Compliance) to cover a period of parental leave through to
September ****.
This is a key role responsible for ensuring the
City complies with Western Australia Government's privacy and
information sharing legislation.
To succeed in this role, you will be a collaborative and
proactive team player with strong communication skills.
You will be
confident in using your initiative, sound judgement, and
problem-solving abilities to address issues as they arise.
You will
have knowledge of the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing
Act **** (WA), information classification principles, and a working
knowledge of the State Records Act **** (WA).
You will also bring
experience working with both electronic and paper-based records
management systems,



together with a strong understanding of records
management practices and procedures.
Highly organised and
detail-oriented, you will possess robust time management skills and
a solution-focused approach to your work.
To be considered for this role, you must address the
following selection criteria when completing your
application:
Knowledge of information classification principles and of
legislation, practices and methods in information management,
privacy and information sharing
Knowledge of the State Records Act **** (WA)
Knowledge of the Privacy and Responsible Information
Sharing Act **** (WA)
Strong communication skills
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in
Microsoft Excel and Word
Well-developed planning, prioritisation and organisational
skills
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise
initiative and sound judgement
Demonstrated ability to identify issues, evaluate options
and implement practical solutions
Experience working with both electronic and paper based
records and systems
Thorough understanding of records management
procedures
We are offering a gross salary of
$75,999
per
annum and:
12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a
further 5%
A variety of health and wellbeing programmes including a
