About the Role
As Head Chef, you will lead the kitchen team, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation across our restaurant, events, and hotel food and beverage offering.
You will;
Lead, mentor and develop the kitchen team through recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing coaching;
Foster a positive, high-performing culture that values teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement;
Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional food quality, presentation and service standards.
Develop creative, seasonal menus that reflect current food trends while maintaining the Levantine Hill brand.
Manage labour costs, food costs (COGS), stock control and kitchen budgets to achieve profitability targets.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will have 5+ years experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality, high-volume hospitality business, where you have shown strong leadership and a genuine commitment to culinary excellence.
You will also:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor and inspire a high-performing team.
Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, food costing, rostering and inventory management.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style.
