Job Overview:
As a
Tour Guide/Driver
, you will play a vital role in supporting the pilot and passengers during all stages of the flight experience.
From entertaining and informing guests, to chasing the balloon across the countryside, you'll be the backbone of the operation.
No two flights are ever the same, making this a truly exciting and hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities:
Transporting passengers to the launch site:
Collect guests in one of our 24 seat buses from their designated pick-up points, inform them about the ballooning experience and safety procedures to follow.
Flight Tracking:
Follow the balloon during flight,



navigating to its landing location to assist with recovery.
Passenger Safety:
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers in and out of the basket, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Post-Flight Operations:
Deflate, pack, and store the balloon and equipment properly after each flight, ensuring everything is ready for the next adventure.
Customer Interaction:
Engage with passengers before and after flights, answering questions, helping them feel at ease, and enhancing their overall experience.
Return Journey:
Return the guests to their designated drop off locations in a timely fashion.
What We're Looking For:
LR or MR Driver's License:
A valid LR or MR driver's license and the ability to drive a 24 seat bus is required.
Customer-focused:
Throughout our guests ballooning adventure you will be their main contact point, this role spends more time with our guests than any other.
Outdoor Enthusiast:
You'll be working in the great outdoors, so you should enjoy being outside, regardless of weather (sunshine, wind, or chilly mornings).
Strong Communication Skills:
You'll interact with both the crew and passengers, so excellent verbal communication is essential.
Team Player:
We operate as a cohesive unit.
Being able to work well with others in high-energy situations is key.
