This role will see you working on a diverse range of projects, including medium to high rise structures, commercial, retail, residential, government work etc.
Projects can be located locally, intrastate and interstate, giving the successful candidate opportunities to develop their skills and career in complex and wide-ranging environment.
In addition, this role will be a key part of driving innovation in our business and industry, providing opportunity for creative thinking and career development.Some of your key accountabilities in this role will include:Responsibility for producing quality detail design documentation in Revit or other software programs.Having responsibility for project outcomes through the monitoring of scope,
quality, and schedule to ensure a successful and profitable project.Assisting in the tracking of project progress, including quality and schedule to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded on a consistent basis.Responsibility for liaising between disciplines and project team members (both internal and external) to ensure the design documentation is consistent and coordinatedProviding leadership and mentoring to junior staffThe Successful Candidate Will HaveA relevant and suitable qualification in drafting (required)4 -6 years of relevant real-world experience in draftingKnowledge and experience in the use of Revit in documenting residential, commercial, high and low rise structuresStrong design skills in large concrete frame buildings/tall buildings, steel structures (industrial/commercial/retail)The ability to critically assess and review drawings by othersKnowledge of construction methods and their impact on designAn understanding of commercial riskExperience in liaising with project managers, engineers and other technical specialists.Solid communication skillsWhat's in it for you?
