This role is focused on delivering high- quality VFX shots, including compositing, greenscreen keying, rotoscoping, and atmospheric effects, for a project based in Wollongong, Australia.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with in‐house technical support and utilize provided software to ensure seamless integration of effects into the film's narrative.
This is an on‐site position, ideal for a detail‐oriented artist passionate about genre filmmaking and visual storytelling.
Deliverables
Complete ***** VFX shots, ensuring consistency and quality across all scenes
Execute advanced compositing and greenscreen keying for complex sequences
Perform precise rotoscoping to isolate and enhance key elements
Create and integrate atmospheric effects to heighten the film's psychological horror tone




Collaborate with the post- production supervisor and technical team to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges
Ensure all deliverables meet the project's creative vision and technical specifications
Requirements
Proven experience in VFX for feature films or high- end television projects
Proficiency in industry- standard VFX software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects, or similar)
Strong skills in compositing, greenscreen keying, and rotoscoping
Demonstrated ability to create atmospheric and environmental effects
Ability to work on- site in Wollongong, Australia, for the duration of the project
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Robust communication and collaboration skills within a creative team environment
