Key Responsibilities Oversee asbestos laboratory testing including fibre counting and identification of asbestos in bulk samples.
Develop and manage operational procedures and ensure thorough documentation for testing protocols.
Manage accreditation requirements and maintain compliance with recognised national standards.
Lead recruitment, coordinate workloads, and develop the laboratory team.
Contribute to the expansion and introduction of new laboratory processes and technologies relevant to the environmental sector.
Work closely with environmental service teams to provide technical asbestos analysis expertise.
Implement quality assurance practices to uphold high testing standards and accreditation.
