About the role Our client, based in Lidcombe, is a leading food manufacturer producing fresh ready-to-eat meals, salads, soups, fruit products, and convenience foods supplied to major Australian retailers.
We are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators to join a busy food manufacturing team.
This role involves operating and monitoring production equipment to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Shift Details • Morning and afternoon shifts available • Morning shift start times between 5:00am - 7:00am • Afternoon shift start times between 1:00pm - 4:00pm • 5-6 days per week, Monday to Saturday • Chilled work environment (1-4°C) • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive manual tasks Key Responsibilities • Operate and monitor food production machinery safely and efficiently • Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot production equipment during operation • Produce a variety of fresh food products including ready-made salads, soups, fruit products, and convenience meals • Complete routine quality checks to ensure products meet food safety and customer standards • Maintain production records and complete required documentation • Assist with machine changeovers and basic cleaning between production runs • Report machine faults or maintenance issues to supervisors • Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety,



and workplace health and safety procedures • Maintain a clean and organised production area What We're Looking For • Previous machine operating experience is ESSENTIAL • Experience operating machinery within a food manufacturing setting is highly preferred • Full Australian working rights • Willing to work ***** hour shifts when required • Ability to provide proof of work rights (Australian Passport, Australian Birth Certificate, or evidence of unrestricted Australian work rights) • Own reliable transport due to limited public transport access • Understanding of GMP, food safety, and hygiene standards • Comfortable working in a chilled setting while wearing PPE provided • Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties • Available to work 5-6 shifts per week • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment What's On Offer • Ongoing work with consistent hours • Safe, supportive, and inclusive workplace • Opportunity to secure a permanent full-time position • Employee benefits including discounts on health insurance, gym memberships, and retail outlets About AWX AWX is an Australia-wide labour hire and recruitment company backed by 20 years of expertise.
