We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Fabricator to join our team at DCP GROUP.
The Position is full time.
For the successful candidate, annual salary between $80,000 to $100,000 + superannuation will be offered.
Responsibilities include but is not limited to the following: Interpret blueprints, fabrication plans, and technical specifications to determine job requirements, production methods and project requirements.
Prepare metal materials by measuring, marking out, cutting, and shaping components to required dimensions and tolerances.
Select appropriate processes, consumables, and equipment based on material type and project specifications.
Cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting, and assembling metal components using hand tools and power tools.
Shape and form metal sections and pipework using mechanical equipment and heat treatment techniques where required.
Position, align,



and secure components using measuring instruments, clamps, and alignment tools.
Inspect completed welds and fabricated assemblies to verify compliance with quality standards, dimensional tolerances, and specifications.
Identify defects or fabrication issues and carry out repairs, modifications, or rework as required.
Finish fabricated products by grinding, filing, polishing, and cleaning to achieve the required surface finish.
Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures, environmental requirements, and safe work practices at all times.
