About the Opportunity: An established and growing residential construction company is looking for an experienced Recruitment Officer to join its Brisbane-based HR team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building robust relationships, partnering with hiring managers and delivering a high-quality recruitment experience from attraction through to onboarding.
You'll play a key role in supporting workforce growth while helping to improve recruitment processes and candidate engagement across the business.
Key Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across a variety of business functions.
Prepare and advertise vacancies across multiple recruitment platforms.
Source, engage and attract high-quality candidates using proactive search techniques.
Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring requirements.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide recruitment advice.
Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication and ensure a positive recruitment experience.
Conduct phone screenings, reference checks and pre-employment checks.
Work closely with external recruitment agencies where required.
Review and update position descriptions to ensure they remain current.
Maintain accurate recruitment records,



reporting and recruitment metrics.
Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and sourcing strategies.
Provide general HR administration and support as required.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: 2-3+ years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple vacancies.
Strong sourcing capability using SEEK, LinkedIn and other recruitment tools.
Experience partnering with hiring managers and external recruitment agencies.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
Certificate IV or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline (desirable).
Previous recruitment experience within the residential building or construction industry will be highly regarded.
