Job description Our client within Queensland State Government is looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to join their team-oriented team.
You will deliver end to end procurement support across a range of projects, contributing to best practice procurement outcomes within a dynamin operational environment.
Key Responsibilities Deliver procurement services to operational staff and promote procurement best practice Prepare and manage end-to-end tender processes across construction, maintenance, consulting, and upgrade categories Undertake tender evaluations and apply appropriate regulatory and governance frameworks Manage operational purchasing activities, including raising and amending purchase orders Provide high-level customer service to internal stakeholders, clients, and external suppliers/contractors Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to procurement processes and templates Ensure compliance with Queensland Procurement Policy, delegations, and relevant legislation About You You will be an organised and proactive procurement professional who thrives in both a team or working autonomously.
You will bring: Strong ability to manage multiple tenders and projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills, with confidence to engage and clarify requirements with stakeholders High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Experience in Queensland Government procurement (highly regarded) Highly regarded - Procurement experience within Building,
