SafeKIDS Community Secondment Opportunities Act for Kids and Youthrive are seeking expressions of interest from team members interested in undertaking a developmental secondment to support our SafeKIDS residential care services in remote Aboriginal communities.
These opportunities have been created to support local teams during periods of increased need, while providing team members with a unique opportunity to learn through experience, relationships and shared practice.
Working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, families, communities and colleagues, participants will strengthen their cultural capability and deepen their culturally responsive and trauma-informed practice.
Applications are encouraged from team members across all levels of the organisation.
These secondments are designed to strengthen both individual and organisational cultural capability while supporting positive outcomes for children and young people.
Opportunities Available Depending on your skills, experience and development goals, secondment opportunities may be available as: Residential Support Worker Team Leader We are looking for team members who are curious, adaptable, respectful and committed to learning from community.
What to Expect Flights and accommodation in the safehouse provided Approximately 2 weeks on,



1 week off Sleepover shifts may be required Team members will remain employed in their substantive position and retain their current salary and employment conditions Applicable residential care roster-related entitlements, including sleepover, penalty and overtime provisions, will apply where relevant Why Participate?
