About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our client's growing logistics and waste management business in the Shoalhaven.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the treatment facility and transport fleet, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations while driving continuous improvement across the business. You'll enjoy genuine autonomy while leading a committed team within a well-established local business.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the treatment facility and transport fleet
Coordinate workflows to maximise operational efficiency
Lead recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, policies and procedures
Oversee inventory control and equipment maintenance schedules
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships





Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvements

About You

We're looking for someone who leads by example and can confidently manage both people and operations.

You will ideally have:

Experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role
Experience within logistics, transport, waste management, manufacturing or a related industry
Robust leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

A proactive approach and commitment to workplace safety

Essential Requirements

Australian Driver's Licence
Demonstrated experience managing operational teams
Sound understanding of WHS legislation and best practice
Strong computer and administrative skills
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening (if required)
