The Department of Plastics at Townsville University Hospital is recruiting for a Principal House Officer (PHO). A high degree of autonomy is inherent in this position, and teamwork with the other JMOs is crucial to your success in this position. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate sound clinical judgment and decision-making, and excellent teamwork.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and .
- Salary range: $5258.70 to $6079.80 p.f. (L4-L9)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Professional development assistance (allowance, PD leave, and exam leave)

options may be available
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable)
- If appointee is not accepted into a recognized vocational college training program – employment will only be as a Principal House Officer and remuneration will be at PHO Level per fortnight (L4-L7).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
