Electrical Service Manager

South East Queensland | $120,000-$140,000 + Super + Car

Lead a high-performing service division for a prominent electrical contractor.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded electrical contractor servicing clients across South East Queensland.

This is an opportunity for an experienced commercial electrician or electrical service leader to step into a key management position, taking ownership of major client accounts, service delivery and a team of electrical technicians.

The Role

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of the electrical service division, ensuring clients receive exceptional service while projects and maintenance works are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing key commercial client accounts and building solid, long-term relationships
- Overseeing day-to-day electrical service operations and reactive maintenance




- Managing and coordinating a team of electricians and subcontractors
- Scheduling labour, allocating resources and coordinating service works
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Monitoring job profitability, budgets, variations and financial performance
- Preparing quotations, scopes and proposals for service works
- Managing client expectations, issues and escalations
- Ensuring compliance with electrical, safety and company requirements
- Supporting the growth and development of the service division
- Working closely with operations, estimating and senior management teams

About You

We are looking for someone with proven experience in a commercial electrical service environment, ideally in a Service Supervisor, Service Manager, Service Coordinator or similar leadership role.

You will ideally have:

- Strong commercial electrical industry experience
- Previous experience managing electrical service teams and/or client accounts
- Excellent knowledge of commercial electrical maintenance and service
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients, technicians and competing priorities




- Commercial awareness and an understanding of job profitability
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to build a high-performing team
- Relevant Australian electrical qualifications and licences

Most importantly, you will be someone who can take ownership of client accounts, lead from the front and deliver a consistently high level of service.
