About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established business operating in the warehousing and logistics industry, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency and delivering quality service to its customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operator with strong forklift skills who is looking for ongoing work and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

The successful candidate will commence on a casual basis with WorkPac, with the potential to transition to a permanent position after approximately six months.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for supporting the daily warehouse operations, with a strong focus on forklift operation, picking and packing, and the safe movement of larger and less manoeuvrable loads.

Your duties will include:

Operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently

Operating larger forklifts up to 5-tonne capacity

Loading and unloading trucks and containers

Picking, packing, labelling and preparing orders for dispatch

Moving and storing stock throughout the warehouse

Ensuring goods are handled safely and accurately

Completing general warehouse duties and maintaining high housekeeping standards

Following all workplace health and safety procedures

Working efficiently in a busy warehouse environment

Roster: Day Shift

Monday to Friday

37.5 hours per week

$35.00 per hour + Super

What You Will Need:

Current Forklift Licence (essential)

Demonstrated experience operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts

Proven experience operating larger forklifts up to 5-tonne capacity

Strong forklift operating skills and excellent spatial awareness

Previous warehouse experience,



particularly in picking and packing

Experience loading and unloading trucks and containers

Strong attention to detail when picking, packing, labelling and dispatching orders

Ability to safely handle larger and less manoeuvrable loads

Solid commitment to workplace safety and following procedures

Reliable, self-motivated and punctual work ethic

Ability to work effectively in a busy warehouse environment

Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workplace

Forklift experience is the priority for this position, particularly experience operating high reach, counterbalance and larger-capacity forklifts. The successful candidate must be confident operating this equipment, as only limited training can be provided.
