Orange Base Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Virtual/Telehealth Mental Health team on a 22-week contract running from September 2026 through January 2027. Based in Orange, NSW, this role offers the chance to deliver mental health care in a modern telehealth environment, working 12-hour shifts at a rate of AUD45.00 to AUD60.00 per hour. Preferred Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia




- Experience in mental health nursing or demonstrated knowledge of mental health assessment and care
- Comfort and competence with telehealth platforms and virtual consultation delivery
- Solid communication skills, particularly in building rapport with patients in a remote setting
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively across a 12-hour shift pattern

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualification or certification in mental health nursing
- Prior experience working in telehealth or virtual care environments
