Join us as a Natural Resource Management Officer, working within the Vegetation Management Unit. You'll assess applications, undertake field and desktop assessments, and provide advice to landholders, stakeholders and the community on Queensland's vegetation management framework.

Our Land division are the stewards for 60% of the land in Queensland and we deliver a variety of land and property services across Queensland, including land and asset valuations; state land administration and on ground management surveying services; native title claims and compensation; Indigenous land services; vegetation management; place names; and government land acquisitions.

img src=" alt="" />Make a meaningful contribution to Queensland's natural environment as a Natural Resource Management Officer, based in Charleville. Working within the Vegetation Management Unit, you'll help manage the state's natural resources by providing advice on Queensland's Vegetation Management Framework and supporting responsible land management outcomes. You'll join a collaborative statewide team focused on practical, customer-focused solutions.

In this role, you'll assess applications under relevant legislation, undertake field and desktop assessments, prepare reports and recommendations,



and provide advice to landholders, stakeholders and other organisations. You'll contribute to vegetation management assessments, compliance activities, policy implementation, business improvement initiatives and the delivery of high-quality services that support legislative responsibilities. The position offers variety through a mix of office-based and field work, including engagement with customers across Queensland. Success in this role will come from your ability to interpret legislation, analyse information, communicate clearly, build productive relationships and contribute positively to team outcomes. Experience working with geographical information systems will be highly regarded.
