Weipa Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join the Renal & Outpatient unit for a one-week contract from 16 to 24 August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a renal specialist nurse to contribute to patient care in a regional Queensland setting. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of AUD72.50 to AUD81.50, with the chance to work alongside a dedicated clinical team in a specialised renal environment.

Preferred Requirements
- Minimum three years' experience in renal nursing or haemodialysis care
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Hands-on experience operating Fresenius 4008S or 5008S haemodialysis equipment
- Ability to participate in portfolio and audit management as a senior staff member
- Solid clinical assessment and patient care skills in a renal setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Formal training or certification in renal nursing or haemodialysis management
- Post-graduate qualification in nephrology nursing or related specialisation
