A well-established custom home builder in Perth’s northern corridor is seeking an experienced Pre-Start Consultant to join their team. This role suits someone who enjoys guiding clients through the pre-construction journey and ensuring selections, documentation, and communication are handled with accuracy and care.
You’ll work closely with clients, estimators, designers, and construction teams to deliver a smooth and supportive pre-start experience. The business is known for its up-to-date systems, organised processes, and strong reputation for quality homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing client selections across interiors, exteriors, fixtures, and finishes
- Preparing pre-start documentation, variations, and compliance requirements
- Coordinating with estimating, drafting, and construction to ensure accuracy
- Providing guidance on product options, upgrades, and budgets
- Reviewing plans and specifications with high attention to detail
- Maintaining strong client communication throughout pre-construction
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Pre-Start Consultant or similar role in residential building (minimum 1 year)
- Strong product knowledge across materials, finishes, and suppliers
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in client-facing environments
- High attention to detail and ability to review plans, variations, and specifications accurately
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with consistency and precision
- Willingness to learn — training and support can be provided for the right candidate
