Peak Hill District Hospital in NSW is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 10-week contract from 17 August to 25 October 2026. Preferred Requirements





- Demonstrated emergency department experience with proven ability to manage high-acuity presentations
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Confidence and competence working in charge of the shift, including delegation and clinical leadership
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard emergency department protocols

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated specialist knowledge in emergency nursing
- Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are advantageous
