ENZED Surat Basin is looking for a mechanically minded Workshop & Field Service Technician to join our Roma team.
If you have experience in hydraulics, mechanical fitting, diesel fitting, agricultural machinery, heavy vehicles, earthmoving equipment, automotive mechanical work or a similar hands-on mechanical field, we'd like to hear from you.
Hydraulic experience is highly regarded but isn't essential. If you have strong mechanical aptitude, can confidently work with tools and machinery, enjoy fault finding and dealing with customers, we can provide the hydraulic-specific training.
For candidates considering a move to Roma, we're also prepared to assist with relocation costs for the right person.

Established in 2010, ENZED Surat Basin has grown into a leading hydraulic hose and fitting service provider across the region.
From our Roma operation, we support customers across Agriculture, Oil & Gas, Earthmoving, Transport and Mining, providing workshop and mobile field-service solutions.

What you'll be doing
This isn't a job where you'll be stuck doing the same thing every day.
You'll work across our workshop, customer counter and field-service operations, including:
- Manufacturing and repairing hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies
- Diagnosing hydraulic and mechanical problems
- Carrying out hydraulic component repairs
- Attending customer sites and breakdowns
- Working on agricultural, transport, earthmoving, oil & gas and other machinery
- Providing customers with practical product and repair advice
- Counter sales and processing customer orders
- Identifying hose, fittings and hydraulic components
- Building strong relationships with our customers
- Assisting with stock and inventory
- Maintaining high safety and workmanship standards
Who we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from experienced hydraulic technicians as well as mechanically skilled people from related industries.
You might currently be a:
Hydraulic Technician | Mechanical Fitter | Diesel Fitter | Agricultural Mechanic | Heavy Vehicle Mechanic | Plant Mechanic | Field Service Technician | Parts/Workshop Technician
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Experience working with machinery, mechanical systems or equipment
- Confidence using hand and workshop tools
- Good fault-finding ability
- Solid customer service and communication skills
- A willingness to learn and develop your hydraulic knowledge
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and reliable attitude
- Willingness to participate in overtime
- A current Australian driver's licence
An LR licence and previous hydraulic/hose experience are advantageous but not essential.
