Concreting Leading Hand

We are currently seeking an experienced Concreting Leading Hand to supervise crews, coordinate daily activities and help deliver high-quality civil concrete works.

This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role — you will be expected to lead from the front, working alongside the crew while also supervising and coordinating site activities. You will be actively involved in concreting, formwork, steel fixing, finishing and general civil works, as well as ensuring the team works safely and efficiently.

This is a outstanding opportunity for an experienced Leading Hand looking for consistent full-time hours and long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise and work alongside concrete crews on Civil Sites

- Take a hands-on approach to daily concreting and civil construction activities

- Plan and coordinate daily site activities to meet project deadlines

- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications





- Be actively involved in concrete preparation, pouring, screeding and finishing

- Supervise and assist with basic formwork, steel fixing and associated civil works

- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

- Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors and project management

- Mentor, support and lead team members on site

- Assist with problem-solving and keep works progressing to schedule

To Be Successful You Will Need

- Previous experience as a Leading Hand in the Concreting Industry

- Strong practical knowledge of concrete placement, formwork and finishing techniques

- A willingness to be hands-on and work alongside the crew

- Ability to confidently supervise and coordinate a small site team

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

- White Card

- Current Driver's Licence

- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

- Reliable with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
