About the role

We are currently seeking Design Managers for Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. These roles offer great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

- Ensure designs are in accordance with Safety in Design procedures.
- Establish and manage working relationships with Hub Engineering Management team, Senior Project Engineers, and Design Managers.
- Agree scope, priorities, schedule and deliverables with Line Manager prior to proceeding. Control cost and time, monitor project forecasts.
- Productive planning and execution of works.
- Good understanding of the application of Digital Engineering within their chosen field,



including work breakdown structure (WBS), accuracy and detail stored in models, Digital Engineering Management Plan (DEMP) and Digital Engineering Execution Plan (DEEP).

About you

- Minimum of five years’ experience in the Design/Engineering/ Construction field.
- Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical/Geotechnical) with Chartered Professional Engineer status or equivalent.
- Experience in Civils, Stations and/or Tunnels essential
