BWE Drilling - Drill & Blast

Our Drill & Blast division delivers full production drilling and specialised blasting services across mining and civil projects. Services are designed to achieve high productivity while minimising impact on surrounding environments and active operations.

BWE Drilling - Exploration

Our Exploration division is an established drilling contractor supporting exploration and mining programs with Air Core, Reverse Circulation and Diamond Drilling services. The team works across diverse greenfield and brownfield projects in Australia.

BWE Drilling - Waterwell

Our Waterwell division specialises in water bore drilling and well services, operating across local government and Tier 1 mining clients in Australia. Projects range from mine‑site water supply to deep artesian bore drilling.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor for a 12 month Fixed Term contract to play a critical role in shaping the workforce and supporting continued business growth across the BWE Group, delivering end‑to‑end recruitment across blue‑and white‑collar mining roles.

This is a hands‑on, high‑trust role offering a high level of autonomy, where you’ll partner closely with leaders,



have genuine influence over hiring decisions, and help build the teams that drive the BWE Group forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver end‑to‑end recruitment across the business using ELMO
- Provide market‑informed recruitment advice across blue‑ and white‑collar mining roles
- Proactively build and nurture talent pipelines to support current demand and future growth
- Lead high‑volume recruitment campaigns and project‑based hiring with pace and precision
- Interview, assess and select candidates to ensure strong role, safety and cultural alignment
- Represent the business at careers expos and recruitment events to attract top talent
- Manage pre‑employment checks and ensure offers align with remuneration frameworks
- Partner with and manage recruitment agencies and labour hire providers effectively
- Support labour hire oversight and candidate mobilisation as required
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, reporting and data integrity

About You

- Proactive, professional and people‑focused, with a passion for delivering meaningful recruitment outcomes
- Minimum 3 years’ end‑to‑end recruitment experience in the mining or resources sector, using ELMO or similar systems
- Strong stakeholder engagement and organisational skills, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Certificate IV in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar (desirable)
