An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Contract Administrator to join a well-established commercial builder with an impressive portfolio of projects across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Working as part of an experienced project team, you will play a key role in the commercial management and delivery of construction projects, with exposure across new build, fitout, refurbishment and commercial projects.

This is an excellent prospect for a CA looking for a stable, long-term position with a builder that offers project variety, career development and a collaborative working environment.

The Role

- Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects
- Prepare, review and administer subcontractor and supplier contracts
- Manage variations, progress claims, EOTs and contractual correspondence
- Assist with procurement and subcontractor negotiations
- Monitor project costs, budgets and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients
- Identify and manage commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle

About You





- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
- Relevant construction, engineering or quantity surveying qualification
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
- Experience managing subcontractor packages
- Strong attention to detail and numerical ability
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach
