Neurological Physiotherapy Geelong

Geelong

Kickstart your neurological exercise physiology career with a team that is genuinely built around new-graduate support. Neurological Physiotherapy Geelong (NPG) is a well-established, highly regarded service providing physiotherapy and exercise physiology for people living with neurological conditions, as well as people experiencing vertigo, dizziness, concussion or balance disorders. You will join a warm, collaborative team that values excellence, compassion, respect, curiosity and shared learning.

This role is designed for a new-graduate exercise physiologist who is keen to learn, enjoys being part of a team, and is excited by the opportunity to build skills in neurological rehabilitation. You will be supported by an experienced team who love sharing their knowledge, with a comprehensive orientation program, weekly clinical mentoring, internal training, in-services and an unlimited external professional development budget. Your caseload size will be realistic and will increase gradually over your first 12–18 months, giving you time to grow confidence, consolidate clinical reasoning and provide excellent care.

At NPG, you will work across both community and clinic-based services from our purpose-built rehabilitation facility in South Geelong. Our clinic includes five treatment rooms and a large open rehabilitation space where clinicians can co-treat, collaborate and create a strong sense of community for clients and staff. Upstairs, we have an entire second level for our team to both work and play. We support people funded privately and through NDIS, TAC, WorkSafe, Support at Home Packages, DVA and Medicare.

You will be exposed to a broad range of neurological exercise physiology services, including functional strength training, blood flow restriction (BFR) exercise, POTS management, health coaching, secondary prevention, gait and mobility retraining, falls and balance management,

aquatic therapy and group exercise classes. NPG is a rewarding place to work, and our commitment to work-life balance and staff wellbeing has helped us build a close, stable team.

As your neurological knowledge and skills develop, you will have opportunities to shape your career within our growing team. With further training, you may choose to share a caseload across neurology and concussion clients.

At NPG we guarantee a workplace that is nurturing, fun and creative. We have regular team wellbeing activities, a personal wellbeing allowance, and offer an additional week of purchased annual leave. We love to share ideas, learn from one another, have a laugh and enjoy the amazing career of neurological therapy. Come be a part of our brilliant team!
