We’re looking for qualified Mechanical Fitters and Electricians for upcoming opportunities in Wulkuraka, QLD

About Us

Our client is a leader in designing, manufacturing, and maintaining over 200 railcars, offering a comprehensive portfolio that includes high-speed trains and digital mobility solutions.

Responsibilities

- Performing fault diagnosis, identification and rectification on both the electrical and mechanical systemsof the vehicle.
- Performing damage and vandalism repairs as required, including data capture and effective use of theSAP/GSI/SES systems.
- Liaising with the Technical Specialists / ISST teams in order to ensure repairs are actioned with no impactto in service performance.
- Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability andmaintainability.
- Performing post work testing and validation as necessary.
- Building positive relationships with drivers and the Operator in order to support a successful fleetoperation.




- Updating the Maintenance Management System with all work carried out.

Your Profile

- A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative workplace.
- The ability work autonomously and work under pressure.
- Ability to participate in a rotating shift roster.
- Experience in a similar role, servicing/repairing Electrical / Mechanical systems.
- Cert III Electrotechnology or equivalent / Cert III Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- A current QLD Electrical Licence or the ability to obtain (electrical candidates).

- 1 x 24 month contract and 3 x 6 month contracts (view to extension or perm offer)
- Monday–Friday day shift to begin then move onto rotating roster
- Panalty rates and ov er time available
