We are seeking an experienced paralegal to support senior solicitors at Loukas Law, a boutique family law firm with a strong reputation in Perth. The role of a paralegal should never be underestimated: it is a frontline service role that interfaces directly with clients and plays a meaningful part in shaping each client’s experience of the firm. Candidates should be acutely aware of the importance of this position and the impact they have not only on Loukas Law, but also on their own personal brand and professional reputation. The position involves substantive legal support across a busy family law caseload and requires someone with exceptional attention to detail and experience managing varying deadlines. SELECTION CRITERIA

· Experience as a paralegal in a litigation or family law environment, ideally within a busy WA practice

· Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload with competing deadlines

· Sound knowledge of Family Court of WA and Federal Circuit and Family Court procedures

· Strong academic record and proven legal research and analytical skills

· High attention to detail in document preparation and file management

· Professional written and oral communication skills

· Right to work in Australia

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

· Answering and directing incoming calls

· Meeting and greeting clients and guests

· Email and diary management across an active caseload

· Preparing and managing court documents,



affidavits, briefs, and exhibits

· File maintenance, chronologies, and evidence tables

· Liaising with clients, counsel, barristers, and third parties

· Conducting legal research and summarising material for counsel

· Drafting and formatting correspondence and documents

· Supporting court appearances, mediations, and conferences

· Other administrative tasks as required

WHAT WE REQUIRE

· Demonstrated experience as a paralegal in a WA family law or litigation context

· Sound working knowledge of Family Court of WA procedure and Federal Circuit and Family Court practice

· High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

· Experience with Smokeball practice management software (desirable but not essential)

· Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite

· Right to work in Australia
