St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Japanese Teacher to join our teaching team for a full-time parental leave contract throughout the 2027 school year.

The Role
This is an exciting full time, fixed-term contract opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students in their language learning journey and contribute to a vibrant and collaborative school community. The successful candidate will teach Japanese across Years 7-10 and demonstrate a commitment to fostering engaging, inclusive and high-quality learning experiences. The ability to teach an additional subject area alongside Japanese will be desirable.
Qualifications and Expertise
We are seeking a passionate and committed educator who brings energy, creativity and a strong understanding of contemporary teaching practices. You will demonstrate:
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
• Experience teaching Japanese in a secondary school setting
• The ability to create inclusive and engaging classroom environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A commitment to contributing positively to a team environment and broader school life
